Congratulations are in order for the DP math team for securing a second place finish in the B division of the CSU Long Beach Math Day at the Beach last Saturday. This competition is the mathematical equivalent to athletics' CIF Southern Section finals. Overall, DP finished 8th out of 35 teams in both the A and B divisions. Based on their strong finish, they have been moved up to the A division for next year. Kudos to team members, Nick Su, Ilan Goodman, Stephen Martinis, Vy-Luan Huynh, Felix Li, and Sean Risser for representing the strength of the DP math program. Way to go Chargers! |

Need some extra help in your Algebra or Geometry class? Try online math videos!
If you are using a Holt textbook, you have access to a wealth of wonderful material online.
Certainly reading the examples in the book is a great first step. However, some students benefit greatly from watching the online videos. This is especially true when you are absent.
